New diagnosis of stuttering

New diagnosis of stuttering Hi all, I am a 33 year old male and over the course of a few months I developed a stutter amongst other symptoms. Today I saw my neurologist who diagnosed that it is separate to the other issues. Basically I am looking to find out if any one else was diagnosed as an adult and how this came about. I am waiting to see a speech therapist but thought I would reach out to see how common this is and how you manage it. Thanks in advance.
