The interview that was almost a Yes

The interview that was almost a Yes Sometimes I wonder if interviewers ever regret rejecting a candidate because of their stuttering. I understand that their hands are tied, they can’t always hire someone who struggles with communication, especially when 70% of the job involves communication and only 30% is about technical skills. Still, I can’t help but think: do they ever, on certain days, regret that decision, especially after telling the candidate during feedback, “Everything was good, I don’t see any issues with your technical skills,” when asked about areas for improvement?
