Did three years in the infantry with a covert stutter. It was hard. I was punched and mocked many, many times for disfluency. Radios were anxiety producing. Had to fight five times as hard for every opportunity for advancement. Definitely not an easy gig. You are either going to get tough and get good or find out you’re better off elsewhere.
