Yeah, I get that. Tools/techniques can be practical solutions. I just hate when people say they "overcame stuttering" or they "used to stutter" when they are still a person who stutters. Techniques can be helpful but they don't cure stuttering. I don't like when people make those statements because I feel they give people false expectations and make them hate themselves when they can't "fix" their stutter like someone they saw online.
