I might be late but when I was younger I was super embarrassed by my stutter so I would never bring it up for job interviews. Hardly anyone ever got back to me. Fast forward a couple years, I had an interview and told them straight up that I have a stutter (which helps because I always struggle with s) and that it’s not because I’m nervous, I just can’t help it. I was all but guaranteed that job. They got back to me in less than 24 hours. You admitting it shows confidence and (in my case) it actually helped me gain confidence. Instead of me stuttering more because I was thinking “oh no what if I stutter on this? what if I stutter on that?”, I knew that THEY knew, so it was okay if I did.
