Just got off a debate for a student trustee position

Just got off a debate for a student trustee position Damn... it feels so odd. I’ve always avoided public speaking when I was younger out of fear of my stutter, but experiences with great speech pathologists and university gave me the courage to run for this job. I may have stuttered a few times, but it feels great nonetheless. Even if I don’t win, a stutterer running for a public office is something to be proud of.
