Agree! Maybe try starting small by making eye contact with *yourself* in a mirror, while speaking with various repetitions and blocks. Then, while still looking in mirror, make phone calls, while doing brief voluntary repetitions. Keep increasing the challenge (longer phone calls, more blocks or repetitions etc). Disclose. Another new habit to try is to begin speaking slowly on a regular exhale. For me, these habits dramatically reduced 2 decades of debilitating blocks, in a comfortable and semi-permanent way. Sometimes I have to re-practice, but quickly return to a comfortable fluency.
