stuttering and relationship problems I’ve recently gone from a long period (almost a year) of very mild stuttering, to a period of severe stuttering. It seems to be on and off, but that year of what felt like fluency was so long that I thought my stutter had just disappeared. But it didn’t, and now it’s back, and I don’t know how or why. But I feel like it’s causing strain on my relationship. my girlfriend and I have been long distance for a month- we’ve been together for a little over a year, she knows I stutter, we love each other, alll that good stuff. But we’ve been doing a lot of phone calls, so as my fluency has transgressed, it has become increasingly hard to talk on the phone. We got into an argument earlier, she got upset about something, I tried to respond, I hit a hard block that I couldn’t get out of and I hung up. I feel so low rn, i don’t know.
