Absolutely! Stutterers have the advantage of being able to feel a stutter coming up, this feeling is to be perceived simultaneously with the sound around one. Talking should be subconscious process, and a stutterer has tried to do this consciously to no avail. Not neglecting the emotional representation of the stutter, but combining the aspect with the literal interpretation of the senses allows it to be processed subconsciously again. It’s a way to have control indirectly, because as stutterers know, its not able to be forced directly to talk fluently. What i offer next to this, is extensive guidance on multitasking multiple focal points in the experience, as well as guidance in rekindling with the inner emotions to stop fearing identification. These two processes benefit the goal of making talking a subconscious process again.
