Hi Mattia I've stuttered since I was 7 (43 year old male). I've taken the following medications in the past to try and relieve my stuttering (not all at the same time!): Rivotril, Zyprexa, Lyrica, Lorazepam Zyprexa is the drug that is given for the treatment of bipolar conditions. I had an horrific experience with it. Weight gain, no dreams, just dead sleep, erectile disfunction among others. I became addicted to Rivotril when I tried it for a year as I did Lorazepam and had to wean myself off them over a a few months. Did any work? Zyprexa didn't. It just numbed me. A horrible, horrible drug. The others just masked my feelings and didn't make me feel so shitty after a bad stuttering episode. Obviously everyone reacts to medication slightly differently but I would warn any stutterer to NOT go down the meds route. It's not a cure and it's not what the meds are actually designed for.
