I feel you on that. I wouldn't say defective though, it's just a disability. In our case, it's harder because it's not a visible, physical one. Also there isn't a major lobby for awareness or inclusivity. It doesn't mean we can't fight or succeed. /u/ziggyjoe212 mentioned membership in a local NSA group. That's something that I think would help in a lot of ways. I'm not all about the disability culture identity thing, but meeting people like yourself would help. Maybe you'll learn some strategies to make the interviews go a little smoother. Couldn't hurt.
