Not likely for me at least. The flute's lowest octave (which I'm relatively well practiced in) is just above my vocal range. I did start playing a few years before I developed a stutter though, and it never crossed over. I didn't think it could with the rhythm being a guide for each note needs to be played. Similarly I figured that was the reason singing fluently is easy for the majority of stutterers, which makes your entire post all the more perplexing. Hope it doesn't impede your musicality
