I feel you, I just got promoted for a new position that also required to answer phones and being in touch with clients. Although the pay was the same, the workload increased a lot, and finally I told the manager I want my old position. I feel that I let him down, that everybody sees me now as someone who doesn’t want to grow and take more responsibilities.
