It’s pretty much focusing on your breathing as you speak. Sometimes we try to force ourselves through a sentence or a word we are going to stutter on and end up out of breath and without rhythm in our speaking pattern. Begin all your sentences on your exhales, pause on when you need to take a breath again (sort of like commas when you’re reading) and continue on. It doesn’t work for everyone but it’s something I use as a technique. That and soft touches. Words with hard consonants (Ps, Bs, Ls) whatever has your tongue on the roof of your mouth, don’t hold it there harshly, lightly touch the roof of your mouth instead of forcing it there as you begin a word with a hard consonant. If that makes sense. It’s speech therapy techniques I learned that I still use and help me. Though my stutter is mild-slightly moderate.
