Not a therapist, just a fellow stutterer. I think it's gone worse for him with age. If you look at his speeches as VP he didn't stutter as much. Makes sense though, not enough energy to focus on it as an elderly person. He also just seems prone to gaffes sometimes. Not sure if it's him finding different words or just being a bit scatterbrained though.
