Hello, I have a condition called Dermatillomania where I pick at my skin and scalp when I am nervous and I have definitely done that while I talk and I stutter. Hair pulling is Trichotillomania I believe. It's hard to control it. The few things that can help are: talk therapy and gently reminding her when she's pulling her hair. You can give her fidget toys or something when she has anxiety or gets stuck on a word. That will replace the habit of pulling her hair. But, please talk to someone about this. I am no expert this is just my experience.
