I totally feel you on this..my wife wanted to name our daughter Samantha…I really struggle with words starting with S…I practiced for months trying to say Samantha casually, and I stuttered even by myself. (Oddly, “Sam” was okay.) In the end we went with Giovanna, whew! I also have had numbers in my addresses over the years that have been tricky…fours have been hard…don’t even get me started on credit card numbers over the phone…ugggh..I’ve purposely “lost” cards in hopes the replacement would have easier numbers to say. This is why I love this sub, lets you know you’re not alone in the crazy head games stuttering can create.
