No, literally, speech isn't everything. I really do mean that. There are loads of situations, interactions and work that require no speech whatsoever. You could certainly choose to focus on those that do, and interpret that as ruining everything, but I'd much rather have you focus on the things that you are capable of doing without speech. Don't reduce yourself! And add to that, don't think something can't be done just because it requires speech. It absolutely can! It's probably just going to take a little bit longer than not having a stutter. Maybe you could try speech therapy again?
