I don't stutter when I'm able to completely relax myself and talk lying down facing the ceiling?

I don't stutter when I'm able to completely relax myself and talk lying down facing the ceiling? Its like that Simpsons episode where Homer gets a back injury and when he lies down he becomes an amazing opera singer. What's going on? Have I found some kind of hack? Can I simulate this in real life somehow?
