I am going to be honest with you. Your boyfriend knows. For example, everyone I know, knows that I stutter. But no one brings it up. People don't really talk about others disability, it's weird awkward and douchy. OP, some advice, coming from a person in their late 30s that has stutter all his life. People don't really care that you stutter, (my wife, friends and co worker don't care). The person that often cares is the stutterer. You should never feel ashamed for something you can't control. Here is a preview of the conversation with your bf: You: Babe, I need to confess, I stutter... Him: Umm ok. I know. You: Do you care? Him: Nope. The end. FYI, that's a conversation I had with a girlfriend in highschool.
