This is interesting. There's research discussing the relationship between stuttering and impaired glucose utilization in the brain. And GLP-1 is the transporter for glucose to the brain, along with GLP-3, so this does peak my interest. Additionally, there's research indicating that people who stutter are at higher risk for diabetes too. What would limit this as having an effect is probably the ability of the body to counteract the increased glucose uptake, nevertheless, it's still an interesting area of research.
