I use the hand technique to “visualize” the word out. When I get stuck, I take a deep breath, start over, slow down where I got stuck and enunciate every part clearly and slowly as possible. I teach and use these techniques in classes while I’m talking (medical vocabulary) and my students may think it’s weird, but overall I don’t think they really care and are patient with my moments. If I’m with friends, I get stuck a lot more (guessing cause I’m comfortable) but we all laugh about it and then they help me practice on the words I was struggling.
