For me, COM100 only had one speech. The speech for me went okay. My biggest flaw was my lack of eye contact. In your case, you might be required to give more speeches in which this class might actually help you boost confidence for public speaking. I wish you the best of luck! Best advice I can give is to just plan out your speeches but don’t memorize them word for word. Leave some room in there for creativity. Something new that has come to my attention is to work through your stumblings over words rather than to just avoid words all together.
