Dopamine: more or less Stuttering is believed to be caused by an excess of dopamine in the region of the brain that processes speech. That is why stuttering is helped by antipsychotics, and dopamine agonists are worsening it. As I suffer from depression, anhedonia and lack of motivation, I will try Bupropion. Also, I have RLS, and dopamine agonists are given for that. But I'm afraid that my stuttering will get worse, which is already much worse. (I already take Cymbalta which slightly increases dopamine). I take Pregabalin for chronic pain, which also helps a bit for my social and generalised anxiety. Any thoughts on how I should proceed?
