My 2 cents: I've had 20 years of speech therapy and I went from 0% fluency to 80% (through very hard work and practice). What I learned (and this truly changed my life) is that I constantly worried what people thought of my stutter. Fear and anxiety dictated every facet of my life. One day I woke up and told myself: 1. I love you 2. You are AWESOME 3. Don't care what people think about you and your stutter 4. Go live your life A whole new world opened up and my confidence grew. I still stutter, however, I stop, breathe and carry on. Those who mock/tease me are of no importance to me. Hurt People Hurt People. If you feel the need to make yourself feel better by making fun of me, then that's on you because I am FRICKEN AWESOME 👌. The less attention you give your stutter, you'll notice a difference. Life is about moments so go live your life and BE AWESOME.
