> The banner of this sub is slam filled with people that don't agree with #2 That's why I labeled it controversial. >I couldn't face myself if I gave up and let this rule my life I don't mean to shit on anyone's parade. I'll talk in my jobs and not be comfortable with it at all. All jobs involve at least some degree of speaking, I just feel like the "you can be anything you want to be, and don't let stuttering impact anything" mindset is something that feels really good to believe, but with the reality of the job market it's just not good advice especially with those of us who have more severe stutters.
