Ill take these one by one. I found the strength of the Haptik vibration strong. There maybe a Haptics setting in iPhone or watch you need to turn up if it seems faint. I downloaded the app to the phone first, subscribed and then added the app to my watch. Once you have set it up the watch does not need to be connected to the phone to work but it is by default synced to your phone. This might be good for some people to feel the vibration from the watch and phone together. However you can turn this off in the metronome setting of the phone app so the phone doesn't start buzzing when you turn it on on the watch. I can be set to silent so no noise just the buzz on your wrist. The watch wheel easily adjusts the tempo of the buzz (beat) I was able to also able use the "modular" watch face to add an "openapp" shortlink to the watch face so you don't need to scroll through your apps (there's lots of descriptions on Google to set up a shortlink on your phone) The great thing with Haptik is it keeps going until your tap it to stop whether the watch has gone to sleep more or not. The Pulse app turned off in the same scenario I have not tested how long the battery lasts with Haptik running Now I have to see if this works for my daughter Hope that helps
