You know, since I've started my job in a call centre, which is a little over a year ago now, I've been yawning and sighing a LOT more than usual and it's usually while working but the sighing continues outside of work too. People always ask what's wrong but it's just a sigh. Maybe that's the bodies way to handle the block/stutter? It does usually help after sighing or yawning but it can also create problems of its own like my voice may crack afterwards which can cause me to stutter or my ear may pop and put me off whichll cause me to stutter too as I can't hear right. I'll try these out and hopefully be able to find something that works for me. I've noticed, maybe it does nothing and is a placebo affect but when I place my hand on my upper lip or around my throat it can help with fluency a little too. It doesn't always work but surely its not a coincidence?
