As far as improving your accent goes, I don't know what to tell you because most people are going to be American and won't be practicing accents. US has a variety of their own American accents so you can first figure out what kind of American you want to sound like? (Southern , Northern, Midwest, West Coast). Maybe do a Google search of which US city has the highest concentration of immigrants from your country?
