You need to be extra special careful about how you design and implement these kinds of tools on social media. They may seem innocuous, but you cannot control the data, and cannot control harm if someone decides to comment in a way that IDs them or creates a comment that negatively affects them or others. I once did something similar of a Native American education research project. I had to bail out when people started sharing experiences of abuse and trauma in the comment section to the survey. As a stutterer, and a researcher, I am all too familiar with the level of trauma in our population and the ways that this can foment into legitimate social/psychological harms. I will always speak up when I see the potential for this. DM me if you want to discuss further, but regardless, please understand the negative potentials of the tools and the ways that they can potentially cause unintended harms.
