I am a software engineer. It doesn't require as much communication as some other fields but there are still a lot of meetings. My stuttering has gotten pretty severe over the years so i just write everything that i need to say. My supervisor was nice enough to allow me to communicate like this but kinda afraid of future possibilities and promotions that my speech would stop me from getting.
