This doesn't seem "symmetrical" at all, to me. They don't have a stutter, so your treatment of them doesn't bring about the same effect. They won't really know how you feel, they'll just think you're being odd. Are you sure you want that? If I were you, I'd focus on making them understand instead. Just keep repeating your explanation. It's an ongoing project to teach the world about stuttering, really...
