It kinds comes in waves. I sometimes see a string of positive posts and videos and at other times there are more ranting threads. The way I see it is that this forum is a safe place for anyone who stutterers to come and share how they feel. People come here for advice, to share successes, and also to vent frustrations. I think about the people ranting negatively and I think, maybe they're pouring out so much pessimism online here because they have no other outlet back at home. I'd rather they come here and vent their frustrations than hold it in and feel all alone. btw, your "trick" is one of the few I heard that actually isn't a fluency trick. By staying on the sound you're blocking on and focusing on just moving to the next sound, you are challenging your comfort zone and showing yourself that you dont have to restart or escape the stutter. That's majorly important and positive. Keep it up.
