Guy at work has suddenly gained a stutter and I’m fairly sure it’s fake. So basically this guy from work started complaining that he was getting frustrated trying to get past the odd word and by lunch time had launched into a full blown stutter. He left work for an hour to go to an “same day clinic”. And then came back an hour later with nothing achieved. The guy also constantly complains about other ailments such as having a bad leg and has a bag full of medications. I’m fairly sure he’s a hypochondriac and displays a lot of attention seeking behaviours. The thing that is bothering me the most is that my young nephew actually has a bad stammer and it affects his confidence so much, he’s so shy to talk to people because of it, and I feel like this guy is using something that other people clearly struggle with for attention. I don’t really know if I should call him out but I was wondering if there were any ways to be able to tell or if it’s even possible to get a random stutter in your early 30s?
