Can you have social anxiety and not stutter?
Content
Can you have social anxiety and not stutter? I have had a few of my friends confess to me that they have social anxiety and often get it when we go to parties. Yet I was never able to pick up on it because they act and talk literally EXACTLY the same in these moments where they say they have experienced strong anxiety. However when I get Social Anxiety my stutter becomes 10x worse to a point where I struggle to get sentences out, and it makes me feel as if they are exaggerating their symptoms (ie. they only have mild shyness) or (and I feel bad for saying this) are just saying it for attention. Does anyone else feel this way?
