Introducing yourself This is kind of a vent thread, but i'm also looking for any tips/advice for these kinds of situations. My stutter isn't really that bad, in that I can still connect with people and talk with them. I just come off as a jittery guy who talks fast. But there are certain situations during which I just freeze up. Most of all, it happens during introducing my name, especially in turn and with handshakes. After the person introduces himself to the person before me, and reaches to shake my hand, I end up just shaking his hand and stare at them not saying anything (trying to say my name). It leaves me feeling awkward as shit and really embarrassed. Does anyone have any tips for these scenarios?
