Don't be so afraid. Anything you do to challenge yourself will strengthen you. Fluency changes throughout our lives and stuttering doesn't prevent you from having a full life. Pursue your education, becoming an expert in a field, even a hobby, didn't limit your future because you stutter now. There is hope. I stuttered from early childhood until I was 70 and became fluent through psychotherapy. My stuttering was caused by early childhood emotional trauma. I did have a full life despite stuttering. I pursued my education, married well, raised great children and had a successful life. I'd have had a career, but I married well and was able to be a wife and mother which was my choice. Keep on keeping on. Best, Sue
