I can only speak to my own experiences. 1. I was a severe stutterer from as early as I can recall to mid 20's. Speech therapy helped me achieve fluency. So... ***YES*** 2. Never tried meds. 3. My parents were always told that I would outgrow it. I'd love to have a word with those folks. Terrible advice. Did me a lot of harm. 4. IDK. I can only speak for myself. If you saw any impact at all from speech therapy, then I would assume you can achieve more. Never accept that you can't be fluent. Believing that stuttering is a fact of life can make it so. ***YOU CAN BE FLUENT!***
