It got better as an adult purely because I’m much more confident and care much less. Plus after experience of putting yourself in uncomfortable situations, you kind of learn to move through it. Public presentations still suck though, but it is what it is. It largely hasn’t affected my social life or career, but on the career side I do find it becoming a barrier to executive level positions
