The struggle is real. Like everyday real. Im 40. Been in the same boat for as long as I can remember. Some say stuttering is a gift. I will never fully understand that statement. I'm certain that a non-stutterer has told me that each time. I went to a convention once. Felt very accepted there. I stuttered more than ever, came home like a week later and basically no one back home supported my new liberated speech. Very depressing. I don't mean family, like the rest of the world just laughs and makes fun of it.
