How to stop speech blocks?

How to stop speech blocks? How do I get over/fight against speech blocks? When I talk, usually every sentence I have one speech block that lasts like 3-5 seconds, it is (very) noticeable indeed. I have observed that when I have a speech block, I am unconsciously inhaling (breathing) through my mouth (very quietly, I don’t even notice it when I have the block, I only observed it when I really stopped). I do think this is a learned behavior. I already tried inhaling through my nose before speaking, but it barely works. Is there any way to stop this? I don’t want to breath in while speaking, that’s where it ‘goes wrong’.
