You can't "fix" or "cure" a stutter. Anyone who claims you can is trying to sell you something. If it's within your means, look into speech therapy. You will learn specific, practical techniques that can make speaking easier. It's also nice to have a time and place on a regular basis to talk about stuttering with someone who understands. Unless there is a breakthrough, something that would make front-page news and be known to all speech-language pathologists and people who stutter immediately, there is no cure for stuttering. You would do well to live your live on the assumption that you will stutter for the rest of it. So yes, acceptance.
