Bad days, bad weeks, bad months.. yeah ... My stutter was severe when I was younger, fairly mild now but it persists.. I agree with /u/c0sm0nautt that acceptance is absolutely key.. I'll be upfront - I hate the idea of it. I want to be free of this curse. But I don't really get a "say" in the matter (bad pun?). Try to view it like a non-stutterer would deal with sneezing mid-sentence. It happened - reset and start again. I feel like acceptance is just as valuable in improving my speech as breathing correctly, practicing relaxation exercises and getting adequate sleep.
