also: always speak when you have something to say (but dont rush this, try this gradually). And then try to not care about the emotions that might arise due to the blocks etc. You will see that - taking your time, you are able to bring your point across. ​ ​ also: dont fall prey to hatred that you got this condition or to hatred towards other people that are not educated about it and dont want to hurt you when they act in a hurtful manner. Educate them. As far as my experiences go in the most cases they did not realize that their behavior was affecting you etc. \-stand your ground when people are treating you consciously bad for your disorder. also: look into what you need after you faced anxiety situation etc. I can guarantee you that in many cases even your loved ones will not admire your bravery as our war is a silent one whose battles they cant see. Maybe tell them for example: Dad, today I ordered an egg sandwich which is a word that is very tough for me and was able to do it. I feel a bit exhausted because of it but I am proud that I did that. What do you think? Might be rewarding, worked for me as a kid. Still works today. I am not dependent on their encouragement but it just brightens my day as it makes me proud that I dont letmyself be worn down from the disorder. :) ALso: reddit might need a thread where we post what we did and cheer us up for that.
