First thank you so much for such a great reply. I don't like the "wait and see" either, even if I totally understand the need to wait and see if it's actually a problem rather than normal behavior. It's hard though when it's your child. We are already pretty chill parents, but since we have been looking into his stutter we have really been trying to be even more relaxed with him. I can't know for sure if i'm fooling him but I think I am. The wait for an actual session is months... But we found one really nice lady and she explained that based on what we told her about our son, that 1 on 1 sessions wouldn't help at this point in time. She said it would be more beneficial to see both of us as well as our son to sort of give us pointers on how to act with him (she's the one who told me to try to maintain eye contact). So based on that she thinks she can squeeze us into her schedule much much sooner. Don't have a date yet. Unfortunately he does not read yet. He reads the pictures I guess? He just turned 3 and every night we read him a few books. Mostly ones where we can do voices or interactive ones (like learning about opposites colours or finding certain objects etc...) I have so so so many videos of him tallking without a stutter... And I wasn't planning on getting rid of them ha! So I guess i could use them later on. Thanks that's a great tip that I never would have thought of! Yes! Singing. You're right he doesn't stutter when he sings. He loves it too and loves to dance around. Will definitely be doing that more thanks.
