I hope you are getting enough rest. You mentioned being fatigued. Is that because you're immersed in your studies in Japan, having to learn a new language and culture while pursuing your higher education? You mention your being autistic. From your ability to express yourself, and your obvious intelligence, I’d have never guessed you are on the spectrum. Your self-reflection skills are evident. About your stuttering beginning at 21 and the anxiety of a new language and culture. Are you living in Japan? It's pretty unusual to begin stuttering that late in development, but anxiety can trigger stuttering and I suppose at any age. Have you sought psychological counseling for your social anxiety? Is your fatigue the result of the demands of your schooling? Learning a new language and culture is stress-inducing at any age. Anxiety can trigger stuttering, so perhaps once you've become more at ease in your surroundings, your social anxiety will decrease and you'll become fluent once again. Please address your fatigue. Many people stutter more when they are tired. If you are out of the country, I'm sure there is psychological support in whatever is your native language and culture. Your country’s embassy should be able to refer you. Since we’re able to correspond on a deeply emotional level, I invite you to continue our relationship of friendship. All the best, Sue
