It works in funny ways tbh because of anxiety. My stammer almost disappeared when I started it. But since I do not practice speaking slow or any recommended practice for stuttering, taking propanolol now a days makes me speak without thinking much but at the same time since my brain is not used to speaking fluently, I stutter badly sometimes as the word doesn't come out at all from my mouth at all.
