I think you may have a few negative experiences in Swedish opposes to English. And Swedish is probably the language you have spoken growing up, and growing up could involve a lot of criticism and having to hold back what we say around our parents etc. I’m not sure, just throwing out ideas. And maybe you just have less expectations for yourself in English because you’re not expected to be great in it.
