Thanks for sharing your experience. My son is also tall, and he excels in school and sports -- so I'm hoping that it will buffer him against teasing. We are moving forward with public school this year, largely due to the comments in this thread. I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for him and feel confident pulling him if bullying ever becomes severe, but I feel more reassured that he might just be ok in school.
