It's hard, there's no doubt. Online dating has been the easiest way for me. I can use it to get to know a girl and show my personality that I wouldn't be able to show on a first date. I also always tell them I stutter, in fact it's in my profile. Then before I'm about to ask them them out, I bring it up again because reading I have a stutter, they have no idea that's going to be like on a date so I give them some more context. If they're still interested then I'll go to ask out. Also how do you act when you're stuttering? Are you trying to hide it? Are you visible ashamed and uncomfortable. These are all things I would go back to speech therapy for, not pointless "techniques".
